Thinkfinity provides links to thousands of interactives and simulations on all the core subject areas. You can learn while you play! These interactives will help you learn and understand concepts that you are studying and working on.
When you visit Thinkfinity, under the Resource Type select Interactives. You will see the featured interactives from each week/month that you will want to check out, but first check out the following interactives: 1. Volt Meter- Learn about positive and negative numbers by exploring the voltage of batteries. 2. Comic Creator- Create your own comic using the template provided. 3. Planet Size Comparison- Just choose the planets/moon/sun you would like to use for the comparison and then click on Compare. You will be able to see the difference in diameter and ratio.
These are just three of thousands you can choose from. To easily find a specific interactive narrow the search to subject area and grade level.
Quizlet is a great site for you to learn and reinforce vocabulary covering every possible subject matter. It is a fun and easy online tool to create flash card sets and games for studying materials. It has a multiple-choice, scatter game, and space race. With a free account students can create their own quizzes and share them with friends. You can use even use Quizlet on your mobile device. Google Maps lets you fly anywhere on Earth to view satellite imagery, maps, and terrain. You can explore rich geographical content and with a free account, save to "My Maps", and share with others. For help using Google maps, Google has basic to advanced instructions.
Alice Christie's Google Treks are a great place to start if you would like to have use an easy-to-use map that places text, pictures, audio files, video files and much more in one central location. There are even instructions on the site how to create your own google trek!

Do you have vocabulary for a subject that you or a classmate need help in learning? Find a set of flashcards with a minimum of 20 terms to help you learn or review the vocabulary terms. In Quizlet use the options of Learn, Test, Scatter, and Space Race to learn or review. When finished provide the following information:
